DELSU finds ‘exam expo’ in student’s private part

No fewer than six female students, one of them a final year student of the Department of Library and Information Science, Delta State University, Abraka, were last Friday caught with “expo materials” during examination.

An examiner identified as Sylvester Okiemute caught a final year female student of the Department of Library and Information Science with incriminating materials during an examination.

Sources said the student was caught while sitting for an exam on ‘Entrepreneurship and Information

The Inspector General of Police has reduced, drastically, security details of Nigerian Governors to a maximum of 62 men, from about 150 policemen.

Arase, who spoke in Lagos at the weekend, said the police were worried that too many of their officers and men were doing jobs other than their core police duties, yet they were being promoted.

There was commotion on Sunday at the United Methodist Church, Mafoluku, in the Oshodi area of Lagos as members of the church rejected their pastor and chased him away for allegedly impregnating his housemaid.

It was learnt that the pastor, Barkuma Andrew, was stopped from leading the church seven months ago when the housemaid, who was also a member of the church, Grace, had complications after aborting the pregnancy.

Andrew lives with his wife, children, wife’s cousin, Favour, and Grace in a three-bedroomed flat on the church premises.

There was confusion in the Ijora Badia area of Lagos State when a two-year-old boy, Ibrahim, died after eating a plate of rice suspected to have been poisoned.PUNCH Metro learnt that the food was prepared by his mother, Fatimoh Azeez.

Fatimoh, however, said the food was eaten by other members of her family who were not hurt, adding that she suspected that one of her sisters-in-law, Fatimoh Rasaki, who had visited her on the day of the incident, had a hand in the death of the child.

Chief Matron of Lagos Assembly found dead in office

The Chief Matron of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mrs. Caroline Oriola, was reportedly found dead in her office at the Assembly premises on Monday morning.
Oriola had gone to the office on Saturday but did not return home.
Her dead body was discovered on the Monday morning by a cleaner, who had gone to clean the clinic before the the resumption of work.
It was learnt from some staff that the Chief Matron had gone to her office on that Saturday to pick some drugs.
She allegedly drove her car to the Assembly complex, parked at the lawmakers’ car park, before proceeding to her office.

The immediate past Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, spent N139m on the drilling of two boreholes at the Lagos House, Ikeja.

The project was completed by Deux Projects Limited according to a report published by the state government

The report, which was part of the awarded contracts by the Lagos State Tenders Board in 2013, was seen on the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency.

A man, Ajiboye Oluwaseyi, has been arrested for allegedly raping his two daughters ─ a six-year-old and a four-year-old ─ and his stepdaughter, 15, in the Lekki area of the state.

Our correspondent gathered that 37-year-old Oluwaseyi, who hails from Ondo State, was arrested on Wednesday, August 19, after his wife reported the matter to the police.

It was learnt that Oluwaseyi, who worked as a Lotto agent, had separated from his wife in December 2014.

He was said to have taken the two girls from his wife, leaving her with a baby (the third child).

Our correspondent gathered that Oluwaseyi, after sending the wife packing, allegedly convinced his stepdaughter, Simbi (pseudonym) to stay with him.

It was learnt that Simbi had allegedly been raped many times before she opened up to a neighbour, who brought the matter to the attention of the mother.

The screams of three children, their mother and her lover, who were engulfed by fire on Sunday, August 16 woke up residents of Ajumose, Ogbein area of Ede in Osun State .

The Comptroller General of Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Mr David Parrandang, has said there was no record of application for visa by the ISIS chief, Ahmed Al Assir, allegedly arrested on his way to Nigeria via Cairo.

A Swedish woman has revealed how she is in love with mass murderer , Anders Breivik and 'wouldn't want to be without' him.
The woman, who is in her 20s and goes by the name 'Victoria', says her heart belongs to the man who carried out Norway's worst peace time killing since the Second World War.

Breivik killed 77 people on July 22, 2011, when he set off a bomb near the government offices in Oslo and then opened fire on a Labour youth summer camp on the island of Utoya. He is currently serving a 21-year sentence, which can be extended if he is still considered a danger to society.
